CKGR is a widely used acronym for the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, a vast protected wilderness area located in the kalahari Desert of Botswana.
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the second-Largest game reserve in the world, covering an area of approximately 52800 square kilometers (over 20 000 square miles).
Situated in the heart of Botswana, It is known for its remote, sprawling terrain dominated by grasslands, acacia woodlands, sand dunes, and ancient fossil river valleys like the famous deception valley.
Fly or drive from Maun into the CKGR enjoy afternoon/morning drives in deception valley and passage pan,look for desert-adapted Springbok,Germsbork and Lions,do bush walks with San guides,and return to Maun.
